Junda ward in Mombasa County is where we find Habiba Ismail, a middle aged woman.
A mother of two sons. One of the sons has a mental disability while the other one is jobless.
Through her daily struggle, she has to battle being a mum and a provider to her ailing and jobless son.
Life has given her a blow as she also suffers.
Addressing the media Wednesday, Habiba said, she has been sick since January this year.
She also said she initially suffered from dengue fever and pneumonia.
“I have been indoors almost a year now. I have exhausted everything. I do not have money and food” she lamented.
She now appeals to any well wisher to come to her aid and assist her get the medical attention she needs.

“I used to sell fried potatoes and samosas for my living. But now I cannot walk” She noted.
She is optimistic that once treated she will resume to her normal duties and help others too.
