Kwale residents have been asked to remain vigilant and observe the sense of unity when dealing with each other in every aspect of their lives.
While official launching the new Jamia Mosque at Kwale town today (April 8, 2019), Governor Salim Mvurya wants Muslims to work together through worship saying this way they will achieve a lot in terms of development.
“If we unite and work as a team then we will definitely achieve the intended specific goals of humanity through such houses of prayers,” he says adding that the mosque is under the sponsorship of the Kuwait Government and its foundation was laid down in August last year by his government.
Challenging the worshippers to take a good care of the mosque’s magnificent building, Mr Mvurya urges people to take advantage of the opportunity to grow the relationship between the Kuwait and the Kwale administration.

At the same time, the county government promised to build and decorate the parking space for the mosque while its chairman Sheikh Suleiman Beyawa said it will also provide madrassa studies and worship zones for both male and female Muslim believers.
