The Luhya community living in Kwale County have thrown their weight behind ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi saying any attempts by ODM leadership to oust him will not work.
Led by the community chair Josephat Mudangale, the leaders said Mudavadi has been an ODM diehard, an ardent supporter of Raila Odinga for a long time saying it is unfortunate if the party plots to oust him.
“We are against Godfrey Otsotsi remarks. We do not want to hear anything about him because “he nominated his wife, mother in law and himself. He lacks moral values to speak about Mudavadi,” said Mudangale.
Otsotsi was expelled from the party for misuse of funds in 2018.
Meanwhile, Joseph Siai one of the leaders noted that Mudavadi is the only leader appointed to lead the Mulembe nation and further accused what he termed as cartels to ruin his reputation in the ANC party.
“We are behind Mudadvadi and we will follow him wherever he will go. We won’t allow those who are out to destroy the ANC party,” he said.
Kwale ANC churches representative Reverend Fred Ndiasi pointed that the ANC party leader has supporters across the country.

He says the party will be represented in the forthcoming Msambweni by-election.

Ndiasi notes that the area is behind Mudavadi’s leadership, noting that they are doing everything possible to get more support.
“We will not allow anyone out to destroy our party and its leadership,” he said.
Kwale Youths Representative Judith Kabala outlined that they are trailing behind Mudavadi vowing to deal with anyone against the ANC party andits leaders.
