Two police officers found soliciting for bribes from members of the public have been interdicted.
Confirming the incident, Joseph Nthenge Kwale county police commander said Joash Miroro Kebande and Simon Peter Lumiti were video-taped while bargaining for the bribes at Ngombeni area within Matuga Sub County on 18th April, 2020.
“The said officers had been deployed in the area to enforce government’ directive of cessation of movement in and out of the county aimed at combating the spread of COVID-19 pandemic. Their service numbers are 255587 and 111095 respectively.”  Nthenge said.
