ACADEMIC OR INTELLECTUAL IMPACT is Measured By Effectiveness and Visibility of Your Publications

Scienrists spend money, time, energy and intellect trying to understand challenges facing humanity with a view of discovering solutions to make social life better.
While this is true and the usual routine of scientists, there is and we understand need to ensure our research is of high quality for quality solutions.
While there are many ways of determining quality, in publications: peer reviews, number of publications, and citations are testimonies that a scholars work is of acceptable quality.
The more the publications and citations, the higher the testimony of significant contribution to science.
Accordingly, I take this opportunity to thank colleagues from many universities across the globe for citing my publications.
Even those citing me in Africa: Africa helping Africa is within the framework of Ubuntu: I am at Pwani University because I am at the universities across the globe.
This common interest in science and technology in solving social problems can be our bonding opportunity between our universities.
I welcome any possible collaborations and partnerships between ourselves as authors and universities where possible.
At Pwani University, we recognise, value, and welcome collaborations and partnerships because we understand 21st century challenges require consorted efforts.
I am an ardent supporter of the Whole-of-Society [WoS] approach in tackling common challenges¹ of global magnitude such as global warming, climate change, food insecurity, population growth, insecurity among others.
I wish to pen off by congratulating the team of authors for the significant contribution to knowledge and their efforts toward ensuring our societies are cushioned against global pressing challenges in their diversity to ensure sustainability as humanity.
