Mombasa football fans are in for a treat this Friday, August 13, 2026 as unbeaten Green Eagles face star-studded Al-Shifaa Media in the highly anticipated Sisi Ni Dola Cup final at Mombasa Sports Club.
The clash between the two Mombasa football giants is expected to draw thousands to the free-entry final with both sides eyeing bragging rights and silverware.
Green Eagles booked their slot after edging Nyundo FC 4-3 on penalties following a 0-0 draw in the first semi-final on Monday.
The Eagles come into the final riding an unbeaten run and will be banking on their solid defence.
Al-Shifaa Media punched their ticket on Tuesday after a 1-0 win over Kwale side Azam FC in the second semi-final.
A solitary first-half strike by Swaleh Lenrod in the 44th minute was enough to send the media team through.
Kombo Hamisi was named Man of the Match while the game was officiated by center referee Ahmed Athman.

“We expect a very entertaining final,” Green Eagles coach Davis Koncheli said after their semi-final win, promising his side was ready for everything.
The final pits the tournament’s meanest defence against one of its most attacking sides, setting up what organizers have billed as a “Battle Royale” for Coast football supremacy.
Abdinassir Kassim Al-shifaa head coach says his mission is to lift the trophy as they have been trying hard.
“We will beef up our squad ahead of finals, and we are promising a very good football display in the finals,” he said.
Gates will open early at Mombasa Sports Club and entry will be free for all fans.
Dola group sports director Hassan Kipapa says this will be one of the biggest finals of all time owing to the two teams hom support.
“We urge fans to turn up in large numbers for the third place and finals matches,as dola we have committed ourselves to nature talents.”

Already a number of players have been scouted by both FKF and private scouts awaiting to go for trials at respective clubs in the country.
Winner of the tournament walks home with Ksh1 million grand price, thanks to Dola Group company sponsorship.
