Who Is Gabriel Mwamuye?
Born in Mombasa, Kenya January 17, 1983, Gabriel Mwamuye is a pastor, gospel musician/artist.
The last born in a family of six children – five boys and one girl – he was raised up in a Christian family by his mother, after his father’s death when he was two years old.
He went to school from his childhood till he completed his “O” levels education in the year 2000, and later on to university until the year 2005.
All his childhood, he got involved in singing and music activities in church, and Sunday school where he learned how to play guitar, keyboard and drums.
He was born a musician, because he loved music with passion.
Early Career
Mwamuye took music as a career and got started in church choir, while still in school.
After his University education, he recorded his first single gospel song “Jipe Moyo” at Tabasam Records in Mombasa that became a hit from 2007 onwards.
In the year 2010, he recorded another second hit song entitled “Mwachie Mungu” which equally did well from then onwards.
By now, he has five Gospel music albums circulating worldwide. His fiest album “Jipe Moyo”, second album “Mwachie Mungu”, third album is in Taita language “Mikonunyi kwa Jesu” (Put everything in the hands of God), fourth album “Umebarikiwa” and fifth album “Mungu Aishie”. Each album has seven songs.

Commercial Success
The songwriter has travelled in East, South and West Africa and also abroad resulting into successful music concerts.
In 2008, he visited Cape Town, Khayelitsha Makhaza, South Africa, where he performed alongside Rebecca Malope and Benjamin Dube.
Later in the year 2013, he travelled to Ibadan State, Lagos in Nigeria where he performed at the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) the biggest church in Nigeria with a capacity of over 5 million people.
After his glamourous, wedding on August 30, 2014, he also travelled to Egypt alongside his wife Fridah where he made a thrilling performance that left the Egyptians amazed and demanding for more.
He has sold several albums ever since he started recording.
Later on, Mwamuye went to Word Of Faith Bible lnstitute (WOFBI) where he studied religion before becoming a pastor.
Hall of Fame Honour
In 2019, the singer had a privilege of meeting the fourth President of the Republic of Kenya Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta and the First Lady Margaret Kenyatta together with his deputy Willam Samoei Ruto.
He has also been performing in several state events in the republic of Kenya, to date.
Final Remarks
Being a pastor and a family man with children, Mwamuye also finds time to spend with his family that he loves so much and believes that it is a blessing from God.

The singing pastor teaches his children and family to pray, love and always depend on God for everything in life.
During his part-time he also teaches them to value gospel music.
