The Kenya Tong-IL Moo-Do Federation stands in deep sorrow and profound grief following the passing of a colossus of Kenyan and African politics, The Right Honourable Raila Amolo Odinga.
Our hearts are heavy as we extend our most sincere and heartfelt condolences to his beloved wife Mama Ida Odinga, his children, his extended family, the entire Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party, and the people of Kenya during this period of immense loss.
The sudden departure of Baba, as he was fondly known, leaves an immense void that cannot be easily filled.
He was a generational figure whose life story is intrinsically woven into the fabric of Kenya’s modern history, a relentless champion for the soul of our nation.

The Right Honourable Raila Odinga’s life was a testament to his unwavering commitment to the values of justice, democracy, and the rule of law.
His principled struggle against authoritarianism saw him endure long periods of detention and personal sacrifice, all in pursuit of a more equitable and free Kenya for all.
This courage, resilience, and willingness to stand for what is right, even in the face of great adversity, remains a timeless lesson for our youth and athletes in the spirit of martial arts.
In the world of Tong-IL Moo-Do, we understand the essence of discipline, perseverance, and the struggle for a higher goal. The Right Honourable Raila Odinga embodied this spirit in his political life—a relentless fighter who never gave up on his vision for a united, prosperous, and democratic Kenya.

We join the nation in mourning a true patriot, a statesman of global standing, and a voice for the oppressed. May his family find strength and solace in the enduring and impactful legacy he leaves behind.
May The Right Honourable Raila Amolo Odinga Rest in Eternal Peace.
