The Smirnoff Battle of the Beats (SBOB) finale heats up as the final four DJs advance to the next round in Nairobi, Kenya on 1st April, 2025.
Stakes have never been such higher as this year’s SBOB competition continues to draw audiences.
After an intense round of competition in a thrilling live session held on Friday, 28th March, 2025 one DJ was eliminated, leaving only four contenders to proceed to the knockdown round.
The national competition, featuring the top DJs from five regions in Kenya, seeks to find the ultimate entertainer in Kenya’s DJ scene.
With fan votes playing a crucial role in determining who moves forward, DJ Klasiq (Nairobi region) exited the competition, while KJ The DJ (Nairobi), Rattihy The DJ (Coast region), DJ Kryptic (Mt. Kenya region) and DJ Insta (Lake region), secured their spots for the next stage.
The energy remains high as viewers look forward to and DJs gear up for the next Knockdown stage on April 4th where they will push their creativity and technical skills to the limit in their quest for the championship trophy.
The level of talent has been seen in this year’s Smirnoff Battle of the Beats is nothing short of phenomenal in terms of standards.
Each DJ has brought their unique style and energy to the decks, making it an incredibly tough competition.

The SBOB finale will end on 11th April, 2025 where the best of the best will face off for the prestigious SBOB’s Grand Winner Title.
The champion will walk away with a DJ Deck, MacBook Laptop, 2TB Flash Disk, headphones, and a Flight Case, setting them up for success in their DJ career.
