Go Thee Unite Kenyans, Raila Ruto Pact Backed

Rabai MP Kenga Mupe has welcomed the political pact between president William Ruto and ODM leader Raila Odinga saying it would unite Kenyans and open development opportunities.
Mupe, speaking during the International Women’s Day celebration at Rabai on Saturday, March 8, 2025 said working together as a people was the in-thing for prosperity.
“Different leaders have been pushing for this truce and it has occurred. Let Kenyans support it because the cooperation will bring stability in the country. It’s time for the two leaders focus on the welfare of the citizens.”
According to him the move proved the two leaders are not selfish, but are for the good of all Kenyans irresponsible of the tribes or political affiliation.
“We as Rabai community and Kilifians have agreed to work with the President and we are optimistic these new arrangements is going to address the imbalances we were seeing before.”

The legislator said those still propagating tribalism have no future in leadership and electorates should vote them out during elections.
He added that the focus should be on harmony between communities and not tribalism.
He revealed that the deal between the two leaders signal goodies for the country and urged them to ensure that each community benefit from the national resources regardless of their voting pattern.
Mijikenda Council of Elder chairman Mwinyi Mwalimu, on a phobe interview, supported the working relationship between the two leaders saying it would address and fix matters surrounding the Social Health Authority (SHA).

“We are confident that the deal signed by our president and ODM leader is for the better of this country. Let them address the issues affecting health sector. We want to see the deal also improve the economy and create jobs for our youths who are the majority,” he said.
He disclosed that the two leaders had prioritized the country’s well-being by putting aside their political interests.
“By putting aside their personal interest, Ruto and Raila have shown true leadership in striving for peace and prosperity. The country needs unity for purposes of succeeding.
