FAYAZ FC is taking home a grand prize of Ksh500,000 after emerging the winners of the Sisi Ni Dola Cup 2025, by defeating FETUWE FC 1–0 in the final match played at the Mombasa Sports Club.
Solitary goal by Ahmed Mohamed in the 88 minute was enough to award his side the win in the nail biting Old town Derby final.
The month-long tournament, sponsored by Dola Group, the makers of Dola, Masterchef, and Meta brands, aims to promote youth participation in sports and nurture emerging football talent within the Coastal region.
Fayaz FC and Fetuwe FC reached the finals after overcoming Al-Shifaa Media FC and Congo Boys respectively in the semi-finals.
The two teams had earlier met in Group B, where Fayaz FC edged Fetuwe FC 1–0 on October 4, 2025, finishing top of the group with 10 points while Fetuwe followed with 7.

“The Sisi Ni Dola Cup provides a valuable platform for young people to showcase their talent and gain exposure. Beyond football, our goal is to build confidence, teamwork and leadership among youth through organised sporting activities,” said Hassan Ibrahim, sports manager at Dola Group.
The runners-up, FETUWE FC of Old town, took home Ksh250,000.
The third and fourth-placed teams earned Ksh100,000 and Ksh50,000 respectively.
Individual awards were also presented with 23 Year old Hamisi Mohamed of Fayaz named most valuable player (MVP) of the tournament.
Fadhil Jira of Congo boys receiving the golden boot for emerging top scorer with six goals, Abdul Wahab of Juventus was recognised as best young player, while 21 year old Jafar Sharif of Fayaz awarded best goalkeeper, while Shimai Fuad of Fayaz was acknowledged as best coach.
“I am very happy to win golden gloves for this tournament, I have ambitions as a footballer, and I wish to play for Gor Mahia or any foreign clubs in the world,” said Shariff.
Each was awarded Ksh20,000, a trophy, and a medal in recognition of their outstanding performance.
“The Sisi Ni Dola Cup is part of Dola Group’s wider commitment to community empowerment and youth development. Through initiatives like this, we aim to use sport as a tool for positive change and social inclusion,” added Ibrahim.

This year’s competition featured 20 teams from Mombasa, Kilifi, and Kwale counties, providing a platform for local clubs to showcase emerging talent and strengthen grassroots football structures.
The Coast region continues to play a vital role in shaping Kenyan football, producing notable talents such as Yusuf ‘China’ Ali, who began his career in the Dola Super Cup and now features in the Division II League.
