• Diplomacy Through a Historic Match of Hearts
Ras Kamboni, Jubland: In a world where borderlands are too often defined by division, one man has proved that a single football, an unyielding vision, and a heart for the people can dissolve international frontiers.
Shee Kupi Shee, an extraordinary grassroots peace architect, has engineered a historic masterclass in soft diplomacy, transforming the Kenya-Somalia border into a theater of unprecedented regional solidarity.
By mobilizing the highest echelons of regional leadership and galvanizing thousands of border residents, Shee Kupi Shee successfully staged the Cross-Border “Kick for Peace” Tournament.
The event has instantly become a legendary blueprint for countering violent extremism, tackling youth drug abuse, and forging unbreakable bonds of cross-border love.
A Masterclass in High-Level Diplomatic Mobilization
Shee Kupi Shee’s incredible trust capital and visionary leadership brought together an unprecedented assembly of regional heavyweights.
He successfully mobilized a powerhouse delegation from the Jubaland State Government—including the Ministers for Sports, Blue Economy, and Trade—who stood side-by-side with the Deputy Governor of Lamu County (Kenya).
By seamlessly aligning these high-ranking officials with local elders, women’s groups, and development partners, Shee Kupi Shee elevated a soccer tournament into a high-stakes bilateral summit for youth empowerment and coastal economic security.

The Beautiful Game Defines True Brotherhood
The climax of the day at Ras Kamboni Stadium perfectly captured the spirit of pure peace that Shee Kupi Shee has spent years cultivating.
Following an intense, high-octane match between Kiunga (Kenya) and Ras Kamboni (Somalia), the scoreboard read a hard-fought draw.
With time running out and twilight approaching, there was no opportunity to finalize a penalty shootout.
In a breathtaking, spontaneous display of pure peace and mutual respect inspired by the day’s message, the Kiunga team gracefully stepped forward and declared Ras Kamboni the official winners.
Recognizing the warmth, calm hospitality, and flawless security provided by their hosts, the Kenyan team voluntarily gifted the championship title to their brothers in an act of pure sportsmanship.
Presidential Blessings and the Legendary Silver Cup
This profound act of unity beautifully capped a day filled with monumental highlights:
The “Shee Kupi Shee Cup”: The home team proudly lifted a stunning, heavily branded, silver-plated big cup—the Shee Kupi Shee Cup—which now stands in Ras Kamboni as a permanent monument to cross-border brotherhood.
Equally Shared Blessings: Recognizing the magnificent display of unity, the Jubaland Authority presented a KSh 150,000 cash prize, which—in true alignment with the day’s theme—was split exactly down the middle, with KSh 75,000 going to each team.
A Presidential Feast: The atmosphere of peace was further solidified by H.E. The President of Jubaland, who gifted two camels for a massive community luncheon, feeding thousands of residents in a cultural celebration of unity.

As the stadium emptied, one thing became undeniably clear: Shee Kupi Shee is no longer just a local leader; he is the definitive face of modern grassroots peace.
Through One Border, One Ball, One Peace, he has shown the entire Horn of Africa that true victory isn’t scored in goals—it is won in hearts.
